Ghislaine El Madi
Founder, Pawspact
Pawspact was founded by Ghislaine El Madi — not from inside veterinary medicine, but from the other side of the waiting room. After years of rescuing animals across the UAE and watching too many pet owners and rescuers quietly give up on animals they loved — not because they didn't care, but because good care felt out of reach — she decided to build something different.
The first attempt was a tech platform connecting pet owners, rescuers, and veterinarians across the UAE. It worked. But every request carried a story, and the stories accumulated in a way that numbers on a dashboard never could. A platform could route cases. It couldn't heal them. The animals didn't need an app. They needed a place.
In 2024, that place opened: Pawspact Veterinary Clinic on Al Tashreef Street, Abu Dhabi. Alongside the clinic, Ghislaine built Refqan.ae — a free UAE pet adoption platform — and established corporate TNR programmes and rescue care partnerships across the city.

Dr. Ahmad Waqas
Veterinarian
A founding member of the Pawspact clinical team, Dr. Ahmad has been caring for cats, dogs, and exotic companions in Abu Dhabi since our very first appointment in 2024. Holding a DVM from the University of Agriculture, Peshawar and a Master's in Veterinary Pathology from Faisalabad, his postgraduate specialisation gives him a diagnostician's edge — particularly in chronic, atypical, and infectious disease cases. His practice spans the full spectrum of small animal medicine: wellness and preventive care, soft tissue and dental surgery, in-house diagnostics, and complex internal medicine.

Dr. Mostafa El Masry
Veterinary Surgeon
Dr. Mostafa El Masry joined Pawspact in 2025, bringing a senior surgeon's precision and a clinic manager's perspective. With nearly a decade leading a busy small animal practice — and two further years as a senior doctor in Abu Dhabi — he stepped into the Pawspact surgical room already knowing the rhythm of a high-volume clinic. His clinical focus sits at the intersection of soft tissue surgery and diagnostics: spay and neuter, caesarean sections, ear haematoma repair, and a full range of soft tissue interventions.
